Bhalukpung is a small town located along the southern reaches of the Himalayas in West Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh in India.Tourist attractions in Bhalukpong include the Pakhui Game Sanctuary and Tipi Orchidariurm, which hosts over 2600 cultivated orchids from 80 different species. Bhalukpong Fort was constructed round tenth century and although now in ruins, it stands for the tradition and historical glory of the place.

Bomdila, a scenic hill town in Arunachal Pradesh, is famous for its Stunning  Himalayan Views,peaceful Buddhist monasteries(Gompas),Vibrant apple orchards,and rich local crafts, serving as a gateway to Tawang with breathtaking viewpoints like R.R. Hill and cultural spots like the Craft Centre.  

Tawang is a picturesque town and district headquarters located in the far western part of Arunachal pradesh,India,nestled in the Himalayas, bordered by Tibet (China) to the north and Bhutan to the southwest, known for its stunning landscapes, high altitude, rich Buddhist culture (Tawang Monastery), and strategic location near high mountain passes like  Sela Pass and Bumla Pass.
Nameri National Park, located in Assam’s Sonitpur district near the Arunachal Pradesh border, is a scenic biodiversity hotspot known for its dense forests, diverse birdlife (including the White-winged Wood Duck), and significant elephant and tiger populations, forming part of the Nameri Tiger Reserve. Visitors enjoy activities like river rafting on the Jia-Bhoreli River, jungle trekking, and safaris, with the best time to visit being November to April, as it offers tropical evergreen/deciduous habitats and is a vital conservation area.

 Guwahati is the largest city of Assam.It is situated on the southern banks of the mighty river, Brahmaputra. Dotted with ancient temples, Guwahati is also known as the ‘City of Temples’.Guwahati is the birthplace of Kamadeva, the God of Love, and thus, there is a magical aura that still lingers over the ever-expanding city. People say that the demon king Narakasura built this ancient city.

Day 01: Guwahati Airport / Rly station – Bhalukpong (252 Kms / 6 hrs)

Meet and greet on arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station and transfer to Bhalukpong. On arrival check in to the hotel. Evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay at Bhalukpong.

Day 02: Bhalukpong – Bomdila (103 kms – 5 hrs.)

Early morning after breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to Bomdila (8,200 ft.) – the headquarter of West Kameng District of Arunachal Pradesh and also known for its Buddhist monasteries. It has a lot of attractions for the visitors for its cool climate. En-route visit Tipi Orchidarium a place over 500 orchids, on display there are some rare species of orchid. Arunachal has largest range of orchids in the country then take a break to visit Nag Temple. On arrival check in to the hotel. Evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay at Bomdila.

Day 03: Bomdila – Tawang (185 kms / 7 hrs.)

After breakfast check out from hotel and visit Bomdila Monastery. Later proceed to Tawang (11,500 ft.). – The land of Monpa Tribes & major centre of the Mahayana Buddhists. On the way to Tawang lies the world’s second highest pass – Sela Pass (13700ft) which run through a small ridge & along a lake called Sela Lake and visit Jaswant Garh, a memorial to the brave soldier who single handily tried to hold of approaching Chinese from the pass during the 1962 Indo-Chinese war. On arrival check in at your hotel. Overnight stay at Tawang.

Day 04: Tawang Sightseeing

After breakfast visit Tawang Monstery, Pankang Teng Tso Lake (PT Tso Lake), Urgeling Gompa (6th Dalai Lama birth place) & War Memorial. Evening free. Overnight stay at Tawang.

Day 05: Tawang – Dirang (145 kms / 5 hrs.)

After breakfast proceed to Dirang (4,910 ft.). On the way enjoy the beauty and majesty of Nuranng Water Fall. Dirang is famous for hot water springs where people take bath to cure skin ailments. Places worth visiting here are the Apple & Kiwi Garden depends upon season, Dirang Monastery and Kalachakra Monastery.  Overnight stay at Dirang.

Day 06: Dirang – Nameri (165 kms / 6 hrs.)

After Breakfast transfer to Nameri National Park – a tiger reserve and also famous for some Bird species. On arrival at Nameri check in to Eco camp. Afternoon you can explore nearby area of Nameri Eco Camp. Evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay at Nameri.

Day 07: Nameri – Guwahati (225 kms / 6 hrs.)

After Breakfast transfer to Guwahati. On arrival check in at your hotel. In the evening visit ‘Kalakshetra’, a place where Assamese history and culture is presented through Light and sound show. Overnight stay at Guwahati.

Day 08: Hotel – Guwahati Airport / Rly Station

After breakfast visit Kamakhya Temple, etc. Transfer to Guwahati Airport / Railway Station for your onward journey.
