 Assam is known for its natural beauty, rich history, and cultural heritage. The state is blessed with mighty rivers, green valleys, majestic hills, wild forests, tea plantations, and rich fauna and flora. It is one of the top destinations for wildlife tourism in India. Assam tourism offers places to visit like historical monuments, temples and sightseeing places like kamakhya Temple, Umananda Temple, Dipor Bil, Madan Kamdev etc.

Meghalaya is famous for its hills, lush greenery and its natural beauty. Meghalaya is also famous for its huge orchids. There are many varieties of vegetables, fruits and spices that are found here.The state filled with huge hills, valleys, numerous lakes, captivating waterfalls, pitch dark caves, and sacred forests; there is no dearth of tourist places in Meghalaya. You can expect panoramic views, foggy hills, terraced slopes, cascading waterfalls, and serpentine rivers mesmerizing your soul.

Kaziranga National Park is one of the last areas in eastern India undisturbed by a human presence. It is inhabited by the world’s largest population of one-horned rhinoceroses, as well as many mammals, including tigers, elephants, panthers and bears, and thousands of birds.

Day 01: Arrival at Guwahati Airport/ Railway Station– Bhalukpong (250 Km / 06 hrs. approx.)

On your arrival at the Guwahati Airport, our tour representative will meet you and help you continue your journey to Bhalukpong. On the way Permission checking and transfer to Bhalukpong. As reach check in to the hotel and Overnight stay at Bhalukpong.

Day 02: Bhalukpong – Dirang (150 km / 05 hrs. approx)

Morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel and we will transfer to Dirang. En-route at Tipi visit Orchid Centre and Sessa Orchid Sanctuary. As reach Dirang check in to the hotel. After freshen up you will visit Dirang Monastery and a Monpa Village. Overnight stay at the hotel in Dirang.

Day 03: Dirang – Tawang (140 km / 04 hrs. approx.):-

Morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel and now, get ready for a visit to the Yak Research Centre, Hot Water Spring. It will be for sure a memorable experience. After transfer to Tawang. On reaching Tawang, complete the hotel

check-in formalities and beat the journey fatigue. Overnight stay at hotel in Tawang.

Day 04: Excursion to Bumla Pass & local sightseeing (if time permits):-

Morning after breakfast proceeds for a day excursion to Bumla Pass. The Bumla Pass is located about 37 km away from Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh, at the Indo-China border above 15,200 ft. above sea level enroute to Sangestar Lake. Created by falling rocks, boulders and trees in an earthquake, the Sangestar Tso lake (lake is called Tso in Tibetan) that featured Madhuri Dixit (Bollywood actress) in the movie Koyla, as a result this lake is sometimes also called Madhuri lake. The lake is about 20 km from Tawang town, about 7 km beyond the bifurcation of the road leading to Bum La Pass. After enjoying local sightseeing visit Tawang Monastery, this is the second oldest Monastery  in the entire world after Lhasa. With control over 17 Gompas in the region, this monastery is believed to be a 400 years old, War Memorial. Tawang War Memorial, a 40 foot high multi-hued memorial, has a structure constructed in Stupa design. Dedicated to the martyrs of the Sino-India War held in 1962, this memorial is nestled among beautiful peaks, return back to Tawang. Evening free for shopping in the local market. After return back to the hotel and overnight stay at Tawang.

Note for Bumla Pass:-

In case of landslide or any reason, Bumla Pass is closed, so we will provide alternate sightseeing at Tawang.

Bumla Pass visit will be on direct payment basis because it depends on availability of permits from the army and subject to weather & Road conditions.

Our vehicles are not allowed for Bumla Pass hence, guests have to take local vehicles.

Day 05: Tawang – Bomdila – En route sightseeing (180 Km / 06 hrs. approx.)

Today after breakfast, you will head to Bomdila. En route, you will visit Sela Pass, Jaswantgarh Museum; here you can enjoy a breathtaking Himalayan vista along with one of the most beautiful lakes in India. Also visit Jaswant Garh, a site to remember the martyrs of the 1962 Indo-China War and the Nunarang Fall or Jung Waterfalls, one of the most dramatic waterfalls in India. Once you reach Bomdila, check in at your hotel. The evening is at your leisure. Enjoy anovernight stay at Bomdila.

Day 06: Bomdila – Kaziranga (190 Km / 05 hrs. approx.)

Morning after breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to Kaziranga, the home of “One Horned Rhinoceros”. Asreach, check in at your hotel. Evening you will special visit Orchid Park for Cultural Dance programmes – which will showcase Tea Garden Dance (Jhumur) and Assam’s proud – Bihu Dance along with Karbi Bamboo Dance & manymore. After return back to the hotel and overnight stay at Kaziranga.

Day 07: Kaziranga National Park – Guwahati (210 Km / 05 hrs. approx.):

Early morning explore any one zone of Kaziranga National Park on the back of Elephant. Apart from the Rhino, other species found are Hog Deer, Swamp Deer, Wild Buffalo, Elephants and if you are lucky then tiger also. It is also home to pelicans, storks and darters as there are a number of water bodies inside the Park. After sightseeing, return back to the hotel. After breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to Guwahati. As reach, check in to the hotel and overnight stay at the hotel in Guwahati.

Elephant & Jeep Safari Details:

For an Elephant Safari, please ensure you book at least 15 days in advance, as bookings are subject to seat availability. Early reservations are highly recommended due to limited spots. Timings: Early Morning 5:00 AM to 6:00 AM Or 6:00 AM to 7:00 AM

(Note: Elephant safaris are subject to the sole discretion of the Park Authority, depending on weather and flood conditions, even if the park remains open. Availability is limited and may vary.)

For the Jeep Safari both morning and afternoon slots are available, usually from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM in the Morning and 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM in the Afternoon. Please note that Jeep Safari bookings are also subject to availability, so it’s best to secure your spot early.

Day 08: Guwahati – Shillong (100 km / 03 hrs. approx.

Morning after breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to Shillong. On the way visit “Umiam Lake” which is also known as “Barapani Lake”, the biggest artificial lake in Meghalaya, where you can do boating (by own if time  permits). as reach, check in to the hotel. In the evening you are free to explore local areas by yourself.Overnight stay at the hotel in Shillong.

Day 09: Shillong – Cherrapunji – Shillong (110 km / 04 hrs. approx. | One way)

Morning after breakfast, proceed to visit Cherrapunji – the wettest place on the earth, en route visit Elephant Falls. On the way you will visit Mawkdok Valley – a very prominent sightseeing spot. Nohsngithiang Falls, Seven Sisters Falls is the next attraction on the way. The falls is an epitome of unity of the seven states of north east India, thus the name. Up next are Arwah Cave, Mawsmai Cave and Eco Park from Eco Park, you also catch a glimpse of Sylhet plainsNeighbouring Bangladesh. Enjoying the scenic route, you will go back to Shillong hotel for a restful sleep.

Day 10: Excursion to Mawlynnong & Dawki – Shillong (160 kms / 05 hrs. approx. | One way)

After an early breakfast drive to Mawlynnong – “Asia’s Cleanest Village”. Mawlynnong offers many interestingsights such as the Living Root Bridge and another strange Natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another small rock. Later proceed to Dawki, a small town near India Bangladesh border. Enjoy a breath-taking view of the Umngot River.Also experienced boat riding at Dawki River.Evening drive back to Shillong. Stay overnight at your hotel in Shillong.

Day 11: Shillong Local Sightseeing – Guwahati (100 km / 03 hrs. approx.):

Morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to visit Don Bosco Museum (Sunday Closed), The Mesmerizing Lady Hydra Park (Monday Closed)and Ward’s Lake (Tuesday Closed). After sightseeing, we will transfer you to Guwahati. As reach check in to the hotel and overnight stay at the hotel in Guwahati.

Day 12: Guwahati Sightseeing (if time permits) – Departure – Guwahati Airport/Railway Station

Mornings after breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to visit Kamakhya Temple, Saraighat Bridge and Basistha Ashram Temple. After sightseeing we shall escort you to Guwahati Airport. Tour ends with sweet memories……………

Important Notes for Kamakhya Temple Darshan:-

For Kamakhya Temple, it is recommended to arrive early in the morning to purchase the tickets by yourself, asthe temple opens around 04:00 – 05:00 am. This will allow you to secure tickets for Kamakhya Darshan and avoid long queues.

Pre-purchasing Darshan passes for the Kamakhya Temple is generally not available online or in advance.

The temple issues these tickets on the day of the visit at the temple itself. Advance booking is typically not permitted.

Some devotees may be able to arrange for tickets through priests or pandits, but this is not an official system.
