Maldives is largely flat and has no land features such as hills or rivers, but some islands have dunes such as that found in Hithadhoo island of Addu Atoll, and wetlands and marshes such as those found in the  Fuvahmulah island of Gnaviyani Atoll.The Maldives is renowned for its white sandy beaches, pristine  turquoise waters and unique underwater.

Maldives is world-famous for its wide spectrum of marine life, and one of the best ways to explore it is by snorkelling or scuba diving. The activities allow you to swim freely in the Indian Ocean to explore the colourful arrays of corals, reef sharks, sea turtles, stingrays, and others.

 Dhiffushi in North Male Atoll, is surrounded by a turquoise lagoon and pristine white sandy beaches; a typical postcard tropical island which can be unusual for a local island. Dhiffushi is a very typical Maldivian local island and a well-known fishing island.
