North India, also called Northern India, is a geographical and broad cultural region comprising the northern part of India wherein Indo-Aryans form the prominent majority population.

As a linguistic-cultural and political region, North India consists of six Indian states: Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, and Rajasthan. The National Capital Territory of Delhi is also a part of northern India.

Day 01: Srinagar Arrival

We will welcome you to the city of Srinagar. Our representative will receive you at the Srinagar Airport. Then by surface you will leave for Srinagar Hotel, and in the course of the journey you will experience a feast to the eyes scenic beauty.

After which you will check in at the hotel in the posh area of Srinagar near the world-famous Dal Lake. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Srinagar Boat House.

Day 02: Excursion to Sonmarg

Day Schedule: after having breakfast in the house, check out and your time to take an excursion to Sonmarg or the ‘Meadow of Gold’. Around 100 km from Kashmir’s capital city, this beautiful hill station is located in the Sindh Valley and is jotted with several colourful and flowery meadows, gorgeous streams and lofty mountain peaks.

Arriving in Sonmarg, visit some of its important landmarks, take a pony ride to the stunning Thajiwas Glacier (by your own), and enjoy the marvellous as well as scenic beauty of the hill station. A day amidst these natural marvels and wonders will get your family even closer and will also make it up for some of the most memorable and enjoyable memories!

By evening, you will be driven back to Srinagar for your dinner and overnight stay at the Srinagar hotel.

Day 03: Srinagar Local sightseeing

In the morning, proceed for a full-day tour of the world-famous Mughal Gardens, visiting the Nishat Bagh (the garden of pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (the adobe of love), Shankaracharya Temple, Pari Mahal, and Hazratbal Shrine.

And also, you can take a Shikara ride on the Dal Lake to enjoy the beauty that God has graced this city. You will get a view of some very interesting places around the lake.  After which you will return to Srinagar for an overnight stay at the Srinagar hotel.

Day 04: Srinagar – Pahalgam

After breakfast, drive to Pahalgam (the valley of shepherds).Which is about 96 km from Srinagar, which will be covered in app. 3 hours. You can visit the Saffron fields of Pampore and the Awantipura Ruins (1100-year-old temple of Lord Vishnu built by the King Awantivarman) en route. Drive through the pine forests.

Arrive at Pahalgam and enjoy the Lidder stream (waterboating by your own). Later, walk along pony trails with a magnificent view of the mountains. In the evening, return back to the hotel for check-in & overnight stay at the Pahalgam hotel.

Day 05: Pahalgam – Gulmarg

In the morning, check out and drive to Gulmarg, the most beautiful winter resort in the valley. An international winter games platform. It is popular for its snow skiing in winters.

You can enjoy pony rides and also enjoy a gondola ride on your own to Apharwat, which is at one of the highest altitudes in Asia. After which you will return to the Gulmarg hotel to check in & overnight stay at the Gulmarg hotel.

Day 06: Gulmarg – Srinagar

In the morning check out and drive to Srinagar (on the way sightseeing) and evening Dal Lake Shikara ride and local shopping at Srinagar markets. Overnight stay at Srinagar hotel.

Day 07: Srinagar – Delhi (by Flight)

After breakfast, transfer to Srinagar Airport. Catch your flight to Delhi. Pick up from the Delhi airport and transfer to hotel and after some rest, proceed to visit India Gate & Connaught Place for shopping. Overnight at Delhi.

Day 08: Delhi

After breakfast visit Old Delhi—Jama Masjid, Red Fort, then walk and cycle rickshaw ride (as per your interest) to Chandni Chowk Market to explore—Kinnari Bazaar (Wedding Market), Parantha Wali Gali (Indian Stuff Bread—Breakfast Street), Textile Market (Wholesale Textile Market), Books Market (Books, Notebooks, Wedding Cards, etc.), Spice Market (Grind and Whole Spices), also visit Fateh Puri Mosque, Sis Ganj Gurudwara, Jain Temple, Shiva Temple, etc., and also taste Indian local street food with us, and later visit the Red Fort (outside) and then to Raj Ghat (Mahatma Gandhi Memorial), and later rest a day in hotel. Overnight at Delhi.

Day 09: Sightseeing of New Delhi and Drive to Agra

After breakfast, check out and proceed to visit New Delhi—Birla Temple (Laxmi Narayan Temple), President House, Parliament House, Himayun’s Tumb (Ideal of Taj Mahal), Lodi Garden, Qutub Minar (the tallest minaret in India), Lotus Temple (Bahai House of Worship), etc., and later drive to Agra, transfer to a hotel, and rest a day in the hotel. Overnight at Agra.

Day 10: Visit Agra and drive to Jaipur enroute Fateh-pur-Sikri

Pick up from the hotel and proceed to Visit Taj Mahal (Symbol of Love) at Sun-, then come back to the hotel have breakfast and later visit Red Fort-Agra (aa UNESCO World Heritage site) and then Proceed to Jaipur on the way visit Fateh-pur-sikri (the Fort and Sufi’s place); later, visit Monkey Temple (Galta Ji), and transfer to hotel in Jaipur and rest a day in hotel. Overnight at Jaipur.

Day 11: Jaipur Sightseeing

Pick up from the hotel at 8am and proceed to Visit Jaipur-Amber Fort (oldest capital of Jaipur) (if interested in an elephant ride, it costs Rs. 900/- for two people or to ride one person), Water Palace (Jal Mahal Palace amidst Man Sagar Lake), Hawa Mahal (Window Palace-Crown of Lord Krishna), City Palace (Museum 7 Palace of Jaipur King), Observatory (Jantar Mantar), Gaitor (Cenotaphs with typical Rajasthani carvings), Ishwari Minar Swarga sal (Watching Tower of Pink City), Old Pink City walking or rickshaw ride (as per your interest), etc., and rest in same hotel at Jaipur.

Day 12: Jaipur – Chandigarh (By Flight)

After breakfast, check out and drive to Jaipur airport drop. Pick up from Chandigarh airport and drive to Manali by road. En-route pass by Bilaspur, Sutlaj Link Project, Sundernagar Lake, Pandoh Dam, Beas River, Kullu Valley. Arrive in Manali and check in at the hotel. Evening at leisure & relax after long journey. Overnight stay at Manali.

Day 13: In Manali (local sightseeing)

After breakfast, start the local Manali sightseeing tour and visit Hadimba Temple, built in 1553 with a superbly crafted four-tiered pagoda roof. It is famous for its exquisitely carved doorway.

Club House The Club House, with its comprehensive facilities that include a roller skating rink, an auditorium, billiards rooms, a library, a bar, and a restaurant, makes a wonderful outing for the day.

Visit Manu temple, which is located in old Manali. Later, proceed to Vashisht village, well known for its hot springs. Later visit Tibetan Monastery, Van Vihar. Evening free for leisure and exploring the shopping mall of Manali. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 14: In Manali (Excursion to Solang Valley)

After breakfast excursion to Solang Valley, the place is also well known for adventurous sports, whether summer sports or winter sports. Parachuting, skating/skiing, zorbing, and paragliding are some of the famous sports played here. Few ski agencies also offer different courses as well as equipment to enjoy, but these agencies are active only in the winter season since snow melts in the summer season.

Later, back to Manali and explore the local market. Overnight stay at Manali.

Day 15: Manali to Shimla (via Kullu)

After breakfast, you will depart by surface for Shimla, en route passing by the Beas River, Kullu Valley, Pandoh Dam, and Sundernagar. Arrive in Shimla and check in at the hotel. Evening at leisure & relax after long journey. Overnight stay at Shimla.

Day 16: In Shimla (Kufri & Shimla local sightseeing)

After Breakfast, excursion tour to Kufri. Kufri is famous for its Himalayan National Park, poney, and Yak ride, and one can see the endless Himalayan panorama from Kufri. The place is a tourist hotspot for its awesome scenic and sports activities.

In the afternoon, visit the Indian Institute of Advanced Studies (Viceregal Lodge, built in 1885). Jakhoo Temple at 2455 m is the town’s highest peak and a famous point for Shimla’s famous views. The summit is crowned with a temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman, Christ Church built in 1844, The Gaiety Theatre—the first beauty contest of the world was supposed to start in 1887—and The Grindlays Bank (1912), the world-wide bank started by Robert Melville Grindlay.

At evening walk at The Scandal point & famous shopping place of Shimla ‘The Mall’ & The Ridge, later back to hotel. Overnight stay at Shimla.

Day 17: Shimla to Chandigarh – Bagdogra (By Flight)

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to Chandigarh airport. Flight to Bagdogra. Arriving in IXB airport, you will be greeted and escorted by our executive/driver to transfer your hotel in Gangtok. Gangtok is one of the most cleanest and beautiful state. It is also known as the Organic state.

After check-in and refreshment, visit sightseeing like Bhan Jhakri Falls, the Institute of Tibetology (closed on Sunday & government . holidays), Do-Drul Chorten, and the Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom (closed on Sunday & government holidays). Rope way (own expenses); after the sight seen is over, go back to the hotel & rest.

Evening free for leisure. Night stay at Gangtok.

Day 18: TSHOGMO LAKE / NEW BABA MANDIR+NATHULA PASS+GANGTOK SIGHTSEEN

Morning at around 07.30 am proceeding for Tshomgo Lake 54 km/03 hrs. A beautiful lake that is situated at a height of 13,200 feet with an average depth of 50 feet, perfectly attuned with the scenic beauty around. From Dec to mid-April, it is covered by snow & surrounded by mountains (which are snow covered nearly throughout the year) and Baba Mandir.

(While returning back from Tshogmo Lake/Baba Mandir, you can visit Hanuman Tok, Ganesh Tok, Flower Show, and Nam Nang View Point, if time permits.). Evening free for leisure. Night stay at Gangtok.

Note: Nathula Pass is strictly prohibited for the timing due to inconvenience. In case the same will be permitted by the time of your tour date, then you can visit it on a direct payment basis.

Day 19: GANGTOK TO DARJEELING VIA KALIMPONG (LUNCH IN KALIMPONG)

Morning after breakfast, check out and proceed to Kalimpong. After reaching Kalimpong, go sightseeing. We will set off for the local sightseeing of Durpin Hill, Jelapla View Point, Pine View Point, Chitra Bhanu and Kalim Temple, The Dr. Graham’s Homes complex, with its historic church and well-maintained grounds founded in 1900 by a Scottish missionary, Delo Hill (5556 ft), appears to be the roof- of- the- world and is the highest point in Kalimpong.

After the sighting is over, drive to Darjeeling hotel and check in. Evening free for leisure. Night stay at Darjeeling.

Day 20: DARJEELING FULL DAY SIGHTSEEN

Early morning tour to Tiger Hills (at around 4 am) to view sunrise over Kanchenjunga Peak (subject to clear weather). On your way back, visit Batasia Loop & Ghoom Monastery.

After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, go for a city tour of Darjeeling, visit Padmaja Naidu Himalaya Zoological Park, the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursday), Tenzing Rock & Gombu Rock & White Pagoda, and evening free for leisure. Night stay at Darjeeling.

Day 21: DARJEELING TO BAGDOGRA AIRPORT DROP

Morning, after breakfast, check out and proceed to Bagdogra airport drop-off. Tour Ends.
