Shimla is the capital of the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, in the Himalayan foothills. Once the summer capital of British India, it remains the terminus of the narrow-gauge Kalka-Shimla Railway, completed in 1903. It’s also known for the handicraft shops that line The Mall, a pedestrian avenue, as well as the Lakkar Bazaar, a market specializing in wooden toys and crafts.Â
Manali is a high-altitude Himalayan resort town in India’s northern Himachal Pradesh state. It has a reputation as a backpacking center and honeymoon destination. Set on the Beas River, it’s a gateway for skiing in the Solang Valley and trekking in Parvati Valley. It’s also a jumping-off point for paragliding, rafting, and mountaineering in the Pir Panjal mountains, home to the 4,000-meter-high Rohtang Pass.Â

Arrive at Delhi Airport or Railway Station and drive to Shimla via Dharampur, Solan. Check in at hotel. Evening at leisure, personal activities, & relaxing after a long journey. Overnight stay at hotel.
After breakfast, excursion tour to Kufri. Kufri is famous for its Himalayan National Park, poney, and yak ride, and one can see the endless Himalayan panorama from Kufri. The place is a tourist hotspot for its awesome scenic and sports activities.
In the afternoon, visit the Indian Institute of Advanced Studies (Viceregal Lodge, built in 1885). Jakhoo Temple at 2455 m is the town’s highest peak and a famous point for Shimla’s famous views. The summit is crowned with a temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman, Christ Church built in 1844, The Gaiety Theatre—the first beauty contest of the world was supposed to start in 1887—and The Grindlays Bank (1912), the world-wide bank started by Robert Melville Grindlay.
At evening walk at The Scandal Point & famous shopping place of Shimla ‘The Mall’ & The Ridge, later back to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
After breakfast you will depart by surface for Manali, en-route pass by Beas Sutlaj Link Project, Sundernagar Lake, Pandoh Dam, Beas River, Kullu Valley, visit Shawl Factory at Kullu.
Arrive in Manali and check in at the hotel. Evening at leisure & relax after long journey. Overnight stay at hotel.
After breakfast, start local Manali sightseeing tour and visit Hadimba Temple, built in 1553 with a superbly crafted four-tiered pagoda roof, It is famous for its exquisitely carved doorway.
Club House The Club House, with its comprehensive facilities that include a roller skating rink, an auditorium, billiards rooms, a library, a bar and restaurant, makes wonderful outing for the day. Visit Manu temple, which located in old Manali.
Later proceeding to Vashisht village, well known for its hot springs. Later visit Tibetan Monastery, Van Vihar. Evening free for leisure and exploring the shopping mall of Manali. Overnight stay at hotel.
A day excursion to Rohtang Pass by surface (51 kms), situated at an altitude of 3979 m above sea level. Rohtang Pass is the gateway to Leh & Lahaul-Spiti valley. It affords a wide panoramic view of the mountains, Glaciers, peaks and Chandra river flowing down in the Lahaul valley.Here one sees the majesty of the mountains at its height and splendour.
At the top of the pass, the air seems to glitter against the snow as you look down over herringboned ridges into the Lahaul valley. Note: Rohtang Pass sightseeing tour as per the NGT directions & subject to vehicle permits or own bases (pay as per actual to the union vehicle) Visit the Solang Valley; the place is also well known for adventurous sports, whether summer sports or winter sports.
Parachuting, skating/skiing, zorbing and paragliding are some of the famous sports played here. Few ski agencies also offer different courses as well as equipment to enjoy but these agencies are active only in winter seasons since snow melts in summer season.
Later, back to Manali and explore the local market. Overnight stay at hotel.
After breakfast or as per your flight schedule, pick you up from the hotel and proceed to Delhi and transfer to the airport to catch the next flight to back home.
